I really liked that Rick wasn’t in this volume as much. The other characters are much more interesting!
I liked seeing Maggie leading Hilltop and I liked that not everyone was thrilled with her leadership since it is more realistic. I am glad she had the right people having her back when it came down to it.
I like Carl but was shaking my head at him falling for the Whispers girl like a teenage boy would. That girl’s life is scary so his decision at the end makes sense but it is going to lead to a lot of upcoming trouble.
