Gone Girl
Gone Girl
by Gillian Flynn
I loved the back and forth in this book. At times, I liked both characters, felt sorry for them, didn’t trust them, hated them & then just went along for the freak show ride.
Flynn does an excellent job writing from two different character’s point of view. She really gets inside their minds so you can identify with them even if you don’t like them at the time.
It is quite the page turner. I didn’t want to put it down once I started. What I first loved was the look at the marriage where you can see how the relationship started and how it started unraveling but one is in present day looking back while the other is diary entries from the past of the missing wife. Then, halfway through, it all turns around on its head and you don’t know what’s coming next. Roller coaster ride to the end.
