This was intense with almost non-stop action. There was a bit of a calm start before one attack after another happened. The plans with Rick’s group went off almost without a hitch, but of course, things don’t always go to plan so there was some backlash. At least this time it didn’t seem to be because of some dumbheaded last-minute move, but sometimes the strategy doesn’t work out the way you expected.

Oh, and finally Maggie steps up! I really loved the character of Maggie in the show, but was not loving her character in the comics. She is finally matching up to the Maggie that I know. I can even ignore her line of believing in Rick Grimes (puke), since we all know how annoyed I am at everyone thinking Rick can do no wrong.

I barreled through this first part and I imagine I’ll finish off the second part just as quickly.
