Everyone had a reason for everything they did, even if that reason was sometimes stupidity.

4/5 stars

Fractured is the second book in the Will Trent series. I had read the first book, Triptych, last year. I am glad I decided to read the second book in this series. Will Trent is fascinating. I really liked his new partner, Faith too. I am glad she will be around in future books. I was not a fan of Angie in the last book so I wasn’t thrilled to see she was still around but glad she wasn’t around much.

The different points of view between Will, Faith, and the mother of the missing girl were all done really well. This book has really good character development, interesting plot that keeps on moving, and I even loved all the nitty gritty detective and forensic work that was spelled out in detail.

Nothing felt like it came out of left field and the ending was sad, realistic, and still satisfying.
