June 2015 Horror Movies

The Insidious movies have been surprisingly freaky. I wasn’t sure what to think about a third one since the the story wrapped up on the last movie, but this prequel looks like it might be scary enough. Creep seems to be halfway between a horror and comedy, but not a parody like Cabin in the Woods or Shaun of the Dead. I think Mark Duplass just does a decent job of making things funnier even if overall they are scary. Felt looks highly disturbing. I’m not sure about those creatures she makes. That’s creepy.
