Cable New Fall Preview

After watching the previews of new fall shows on cable, I’m liking the shows on HBO and Showtime over the basic cable channels.

Follows the pioneers of human sexual response research in the 1950s, Williams Masters and Virginia Johnson.

My take: Fascinating subject and I love Lizzy Caplan.

From the co-creator of the original The Office, an awkward English guy moves to Los Angeles and learns he has no game with women.

My take: I wish there was more than the very short teaser trailer, but I did laugh when he fell into the juice fridge.

Cold Justice

Cast: Kelly Siegler, Yolanda McClary
Social: Kelley Siegler on Twitter, Yolanda McClary on Twitter

Reality show from Law & Order creator, Dick Wolf where a former prosecutor and crime-scene investigator team up to try to solve unsolved small-town murders.

My take: I don’t think I need to watch a reality show about cold cases.

Witches of East End

Premieres: Sunday., Oct. 6th at 10/9c on Lifetime

Cast: Julia Ormond, Madchen Amick, Jenna Dewan Tatum, Rachel Boston, Eric Winter, Daniel DiTomasso, Jason George, Virginia Madsen

Based on a novel with the same name, about a bunch of witches.

My take: Sounds like Charmed, which I already watched in all his cheestastic glory.
