NBC Fall TV Preview

NBC Fall TV Preview

After watching the previews of the NBC new fall shows, I’m most excited for The Blacklist and Dracula. The shows that fill you with dread would be Sean Saves the World and Welcome to the Family.

The Blacklist

Premieres: Mon., Sep. 23rd at 10/9c
Cast: James Spader, Megan Boone, Diego Klattenhoff, Harry Lennix, Ryan Eggold
Social: FacebookTwitter, Google+, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Tumblr

James Spader is one of the FBI most wanted who turns himself in and says he’ll help them catch the rest of their most wanted list if he can work with a specific rookie agent and get put up in a super nice hotel.

My take: This looks more like the good James Spader compared to the The Office James Spader so I’ll be watching.

Sean Saves the World

Premieres: Thur., Oct. 3rd at 9/8c
Cast: Sean Hayes, Sami Isler, Linda Lavin, Thomas Lennon, Echo Kellum, Megan Hilty
Social: FacebookTwitterGoogle+InstagramYouTubePinterestTumblr

A divorced gay dad tries to balance living with his teenage daughter when work has been his focus up until now.

My take: I’m sad that Thomas Lennon is in this comedy since nothing about is funny.

The Michael J. Fox Show

Premieres: Thur., Sep. 26th
Cast: Michael J. Fox, Betsy Brandt, Conor Romero, Juliette Goglia, Jack Gore, Katie Finneran, Wendall Pierce, Ana Nogueira
Social: FacebookTwitterGoogle+InstagramYouTubePinterestTumblr

Michael J. Fox plays a news anchor who retired due to his Parkinson’s, but then decides to return to work after five years, much to the relief of his family.

My take: I have always liked Michael J. Fox and think he’s been great in recent years on Rescue Me and The Good Wife.

Premieres: Wed., Oct. 2nd at 10/9c
Cast: Blair Underwood, Brent Sexton, Pablo Schreiber, Spencer Grammer, Neal Bledsoe, Kenneth Choi
Social: FacebookTwitterGoogle+InstagramYouTubePinterestTumblr

A remake of the 1960s procedural where a detective in a wheelchair doesn’t play by the rules.

My take: Wow! It looks so boring.

Welcome to the Family

Premieres: Thur., Oct. 3rd at 8:30/7:30c
Cast: Mike O’Malley, Ricardo Chavira, Mary McCormack, Justina Machado, Ella Rae Peck, Joseph Haro, Fabrizio Guido
Social: FacebookTwitterGoogle+InstagramYouTubePinterestTumblr

Two families must try to like each other after their teenage kids get pregnant.

My take: It’s the annoying plot line to every teen show–when teens have sex, there is a pregnancy scare. Joy for it being the entire show premise.

Premieres: Fri., Oct. 25th at 10/9c
Cast: Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Jessica De Gouw, Thomas Kretschmann, Katie McGrath, Nonso Anozie, Victoria Smurfit, Ben Miles, Robert Bathurst
Social: FacebookTwitterGoogle+InstagramYouTubePinterestTumblr

Jonathan Rhys Meyers plays Dracula in Victorian London, looking to seek revenge.

My take: I was ready to watch when I heard Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Dracula.

  1. Set up TiVo for Ironside and Dracula! The Blacklist looks good, but had conflicts so we’ll see if I get to see it, might be creepy but I do love FBI agents
