Amazing Race: Unfinished Business

There is other new television debuting this week, like another boring round of America’s Next Top Model, but the most important thing that is debuting is the next round of Amazing Race. The show had done an all-star cast previously after season 10, but that was ruined by Boston Rob from Survivor. This time, I think they did a better job getting some fan favorites in the cast.

Check out the cast. Do you think they deserve to be there? Do you remember who they are? Who do you want to win? Who do you wish was in the cast that isn’t here, like anyone from Season 13 that isn’t represented at all? And why is most of the cast of season 14 present?

Ronald and Christina – Season 12, 2nd place

After Ron berated his daughter for most of the season, he actually had a turn around in behavior. Then they came in second place during the finale. Has he actually changed for good or will his old behavior come back when the stress kicks in?

Kent and Vyxsin – Season 12, 5th place

The pink goths were remembered more for being nice, but slightly weird than for being a great team. After a speed bump, they tried to U-Turn a team but that team was already ahead of them so it was wasted and they were eliminated.

Margie and Luke – Season 14, 3rd place

After Margie carried the team most of the way, Luke couldn’t get past the final task. Luke was extremely competitive by getting into a shoving match with one team while U-Turning another after they told the team they wouldn’t. I am guessing there will be shoving matches again this season since so much of Season 14 is coming back.

Amanda and Kris – Season 14, 8th place

I don’t even remember this team, but I guess they are coming back since they are the team that Margie & Luke sent home. I would have rather swapped this team out for the Big Brother team from Season 16.

LaKisha and Jen – Season 14, 4th place

They missed making it into the finale since they stopped for a pee break. No time for peeing! They also had a meltdown earlier in the race with a water challenge. Will they have learned to swim this time around?

Mel & Mike – Season 14, 6th place

They were a fun team, but had bad cabbie luck that ended up costing them their chance to continue in the race.

Jaime & Cara – Season 14, 2nd place

A cab driver stopped for gas and they ended up losing the chance to become the first all-female team. They were the team that people loved to hate. They were fiercely competitive and I’m sure they will be this time around.

Zev and Justin – Season 15, 9th place

In what had to be the saddest legs ever, the team came in first place, only to realize that they lost one of their passports and couldn’t get it replaced in time for them to continue on the race. They were such a nice team so it’ll be good to see them try again.

Flight Time & Big Easy – Season 15, 4th place

Big Easy took a four-hour penalty on a road block that he just couldn’t figure out, costing them the game. They were another team that got along with everyone and always had a good time, until that road block, that is, so it should be entertaining to see them again.

Jet & Cord – Season 16, 2nd place

I would be surprised if they weren’t everyone’s favorite team that had the biggest upset when Dan & Jordan cut in front of them in line at the airport and ended up getting ahead of them the rest of the way during the final leg. These guys had a great attitude and always wore their cowboy hats, no matter what!

Gary & Mallory – Season 17, 6th place

After getting lost for hours, they ended up coming in last, but they were good sports the entire time. Mallory was always saying goofy things and Gary amazed everyone with how much he could do. He could not only complete any task with ease, he was also MacGuyver when things fell apart of them. Duct tape does fix everything!
