MWG: Plan 9 From Outer Space
Throughout college, I would see the movie at the video store and think, “I must watch this movie since it says on the cover, ‘Worst Movie of All Time!'” Yet, there was some reason I didn’t rent it. Then, Tim Burton made the Ed Wood movie and my roommate, Angela, and I had a double feature with this movie and Ed Wood following it. This movie was so hilarious that I found the fancy docudrama a bit of a let down after seeing this cinematic feat. Also, I had this line as our voice mail message in college. I have not seen this movie since then, but I hope it is still as fantastically bad as I remember. Added bonus, it is available as an instant play on Netflix!

How did this movie get 63% Rotten Tomato score? Oh wow, it is so awfully bad.
You know it will be outstanding when it starts with the fabulous line of “Future events will affect you in the future.” I recommend when you watch it to play a drinking game. Every time the scene moves from day time to night time to day time, drink! There is also the awesomeness of seeing the strings on the flying saucers, which makes them fly like a drunk is steering.
I did get a kick out of Bela Lugosi being in it. Apparently he died during the filming so another actor played the part in the rest of the movie, but that guy covered his face with a cape while on screen and was much taller and thinner. It did fit the entire movie though. Vampira was also in it! Her waist was freakishly small. That freaked me out the most.
