Lost: Other Flashback

Lost
The Other Woman

I giggled when Juliet referred to herself as an Other. I know the survivors called them that, but not used to them referring to themselves as an Other.

At the beginning, I thought it was a flashback, until I remembered that each episode this season has been a flash forward instead so she must have gotten off the island. Then it was a flashback! Very tricky. I laughed at Andrea Roth being her therapist on the island since she’s the bitchy ex-wife of Tommy in Rescue Me. Too bad she turned out to be bitchy here too. I guess she’s good at playing that role.

It was nice to see Juliet being very sweet with Goodwin since she’s so serious all the time. She was a little bit innocent and naive when she didn’t know how evil Ben could be. Harper mentioned that Juliet looks like “her”. Is that someone else that Ben used to be with? Someone else he “owned”? His mother even? How did Ben get a message to Harper? I actually didn’t expect Harper to be real and possibly be one of those trippy hallucinations that people get on the island since the whispering was happening, but then Jack saw her too. Maybe it was the black-smoke monster making them both hallucinate.

I’m glad that Faraday and Charlotte were not trying to kill everyone on the island with poison, even though apparently Ben was trying to do that. I still don’t completely trust them, but they still seem like they want to not harm the survivors.

I’m not surprised that Penelope’s father is a big evil man, but didn’t expect him to be the one that owns the freighter ship. If only Penelope knew that her dad was looking for the same place as her. What’s the thing with him and Ben? Why does Locke keep falling for Ben’s lies and trusting him to let him free? The look on Sawyer and Hurley’s faces were priceless when they saw Ben walking around.
