Synopsis: A former chemistry teacher finds out he has a terminal illness. This wakes him up and he decides to use his background to make and sell crystal meth in order to provide for his family when he is gone.

This show is so wrong, yet so funny. You laugh at Walt, who is such a sad sack going through his teaching job, followed by his car wash job, in order to make money for his family. You know it isn’t enough when his wife asks him about spending almost $16 at Staples on the Mastercard they don’t use. That’s some tough times. He also has a son with cerebral palsy and another child on the way. Then he finds out he has his terminal illness. He has a lot of deal with, but does he tell anyone that he’s dying? Nope! He’s more concerned with the mustard stain on the doctor’s white doctor coat. It does give him the courage to quit his car wash job and stand up for his son when some jerks are making fun of him.

His brilliant idea to provide for his family is to make tons of money by making meth. He finds out what he needs to know when he goes along with his brother-in-law, a DEA agent, on a crystal meth drug sting. While observing, he finds his future partner, a former student that dropped out of high school. The two get an RV and start cooking in the desert where the student thinks the meth his former teacher makes is “art”, even though he claims it to be “basic chemistry,” but since he didn’t pay attention in class, it is surprising Jesse hasn’t blown himself to bits.

Then there is the nakedness. In order to not come home smelling like a meth lab, Walt strips down to his tightie whiteys with his good clothes hanging outside the RV. He has his socks, shoes, lab apron and undies on. That’s it! It is quite a sight. At one point, when they have to make a quick getaway in the RV, the clothes are still hanging outside the RV on hangers and the pants go flying. I found this all very amusing. Like I said, it is so wrong, yet so funny. I highly recommend it.
