Shrek 2
Shrek has to meet Fiona’s parents in a Hollywood-type town while Puss ‘n Boots is sent in as an assassin.
I thought this movie was very funny. There were a lot of gags that are in the Naked Gun/Scary Movie parody-type movie vein that were worth a chuckle. I really liked the jokes that weren’t a parody of something else.
I loved Puss ‘n Boots. He was the best. There was a hairball scene that was too funny. I couldn’t stop laughing. He would make his big kitty eyeballs to make Shrek feel sorry for him that were good too. He reminded me of Bobbi when he would do something evil and then try to act all cute.
I had better hopes for this movie than the first one since I expected not much out of the first one and it was actually funny. I thought this one was really funny too. I was pretty much laughing the entire time. The lady next to me would agree. She would like to repeat the last line every once in a while and then laugh loudly. People are spazzy.
Rating: B
I, too, saw this movie. I am thinking I must not have been in to it or something because I didn’t think it as funny/good as the first. I am not saying that it isn’t funny or good – just not as much as the original.
The hairball and the big sweet innocent cat eyes were hilarious. And the picture in the canopy of Fiona’s bed was humorous also.

Finally I went to see this! Movie slacker – that’s me!
I also loved the big cute kitty eyes – that is so like Mo and Bella! I thought the parodies were funny too and not too over done. I also thought the music was good again – I have the Shrek soundtrack on CD and I think I need to get this one as well.
I enjoyed this movie but not as much as the first one. I quit watching them after this one so I don’t know if three was any good. I did laugh during the movie but have not had the desire to rewatch it.
